Hey World!
With the month of November ending, it means Thanksgiving has come and gone, Christmas decorations are being put up and Movember has come to an end. I thought that this year was an extra important year to participate in this annual charity event; where men grow moustaches during the month of November to change the face of men’s health, because our sport lost a handful of great people to cancer this year. Many of these people being men…Dana Reed, Rich Pato and Mr. Rossi to name a few. These men all had an impact on our sport for many years! Everyone has been effected one way or another by cancer and this is a great way to raise more awareness and money.
I was excited to see many water skiers participate this year and I hope this cause can continue to raise awareness of Men’s Health and help find a solution to many of the cancers that take our friends and family. If you didn’t have the opportunity to grow your Mo or donate to this cause, I highly encourage you to participate in some form next year. Personally, I don’t like a mustache and I know a lot of women hate it when men participate in events like Movember, No Shave November, Mustache March etc. but it is for a good cause and it strikes up some interesting conversations sometimes. So after 30 days of growing out a mustache, this is how my Mo turned out. It has since been retired until next year….
