This past weekend, Brian won the Mapple Challenge Cup in Orlando, Florida.  The Mapple Challege Cup’s course format was comprised of one round of traditional slalom, one round reverse course and a 6 boat head to head final. The gusting winds proved incredibly challenging, as even some of the world’s best skiers were unable to complete their first pass. In the end, however, it was Brian Detrick who won the event with a score of 3 at 39 1/2 off. This comes right off the heel of his third place finish at the US Open of Water Skiing the week before. A great finish to an already incredibly successful season.
